From a star-studded Shibuya pop-up honouring Levi’s Women's Experience “FOR EVERY ORIGINAL” to an exclusive look inside Japan’s legendary denim workshops, here is everything from our Tokyo journey with the iconic brand.

Tokyo, fashion, and denim royalty; what more could you ask for? To mark the launch of its “FOR EVERY ORIGINAL” experience and the ultra-coveted Levi’s x ROSÉ “The Original Girl” exclusive collection, Levi’s flew us out to Tokyo for a whirlwind week of archive diving, VIP partying, and serious denim craftsmanship. The main event kicked off in the bustling heart of Shibuya, where Levi’s completely transformed the Media Department into a sprawling, three-story tribute female individuality. The pop-up honoured the brand’s legendary history of empowering women, stretching all the way back to the 1930s when they introduced the 701, the world’s very fist pair of women’s jeans. Step onto the first floor, and you are instantly wrapped in retro cool, surrounded by vintage cuts, archival ads, and hands-on zine stations where you can craft your own take-home memento using classic Levi’s cutouts.&nbsp;

Moving up to the second floor, the experience gets deliciously interactive. Fans were treated to the ultimate photo op: a set built to recreate the iconic “Let Loose” campaign starring BLACKPINK’s ROSÉ, complete with the original props. Just around the corner stood a display of ROSÉ’s custom stage-worn Levi’s outfits from BLACKPINK’s Tokyo shows, letting everyone get up close and personal with the intricate, high-level tailoring. The top floor, however, was where the real shopping damage was done. Guests browsed the exclusive Levi’s x ROSÉ collection and spent hours tricking out their new pieces with custom zipper charms, limited-edition embroidery, pins, and patches.&nbsp;

Once the sun went down, the energy shifted from exhibition to full-blown rage. The entire Shibuya building turned into an exclusive, high-octane party packed with Asia’s most stylish stars. Thai sensation duo Namtan Tipnaree and Film Rachanun were seen tearing up the dance floor, while Filipino beauty queen Kylie Verzosa stunned in a sleek Blue Tab ensemble. Between Sarah Lahbati Gutierrez giving lively interviews and Malaysian style A-lister Daiyan Trisha looking effortlessly chic in a Levi’s wool jacket, the vibe was pure star-studded electric.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The journey did not end with late-night dancing. The next day, Levi’s took us behind the curtain to SAAB Co. Ltd, a specialised Levi’s Made in Japan production and wash-processing facility tucked away in Hiratsuka. Watching the master artisans in action was a revelation. We got an insider look at the meticulous, time-honoured process that give raw denim its unique character. From hand-shaving and chlorine wiping to laser printing and stone washing, it is a true testament to how Levi’s crafts high-quality pieces designed to age beautifully and last a lifetime.

The narrative then settled into an intimate Levi’s Archive Session hosted by brand historian Tracey Panek. Through a curation of the brand’s most pivotal historical garments, Panek unravels the story of Levi’s enduring craftsmanship and its long-standing role in tailoring women’s liberation.&nbsp;

To wrap up our ultimate Tokyo denim tour, we hit the iconic Levi’s flagship store in Harajuku’s famous Cat Street. The highlight here is the legendary Lot No. 1 service which sets as Asia’s very first bespoke experience where denim obsessives can design a completely custom pair of jeans from scratch alongside master tailor Mio Yamamoto. Even if you don’t have a month too wait for a bespoke pair, the store’s third-floor Tailor Shop lets you personalise off-the-rack pieces on the spot with distressed detailing, studs, custom paneling, and graphic T-shirt printing. It was the perfect, one-of-a-kind finale to an unforgettable Tokyo adventure with Levi’s.&nbsp;
