Dior Cruise 2022 collection casts a magical light on its transformative sportswear mixed with ethereal dresses fit for modern goddesses.

We've spoken plenty about the beauty of the <a href="https://www.lofficielmalaysia.com/fashion-week/all-the-looks-from-dior-cruise-2022-collection-erratum">Dior Cruise 2022</a> show when it debuted on the runway in Athens, Greece.
The excitement of the collection arriving in Malaysia has kept us on the edge of our seats for weeks and finally the wait is almost over!
This month, Dior will be hosting an exclusive presentation of the Dior Cruise 2022 collection at Colony Star Boulevard in Kuala Lumpur from 18th to 22nd November (there's plenty of surprises there which will be unveiled next week!).

Ahead of the exciting launch, we worked with Dior to star Sheena Liam in a magical production where the top model dances in the prairie, dressed in the best of Dior Cruise 2022.
For the Dior Cruise 2022, creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri continued her exploration of the female form, pointing to the&nbsp;archaeology and history of Ancient Greece&nbsp;as an inspiration for the collection.

Chiuri used the vast ruins of&nbsp;Knossos and the Heraklion Archeological Museum&nbsp;as a way to reinterpret the strength and femininity of the modern woman.
Asymmetric cut-outs, deconstructed tailoring, and chiffon pleats were new ventures fashion-wise for Chiuri while classic Dior house codes like the bar jacket and cinched silhouettes grounded the collection in a sense of familiarity.

Titled&nbsp;"Erratum"&mdash;a Latin term meaning an error in printing or writing&mdash;the collection certainly revitalized a certain sense of historicism that is synonymous with Athens. The moody, picturesque location complimented the Grecian-inspired ready-to-wear and utilitarian accessories while continuing Dior's wider embrace of mythology.
Standouts from the collection included the all-white off-the-shoulder chiffon pieces, layered outerwear, and the two finale gowns made complete by flowing trains. Throughout the collection, Chiuri experimented with pops of color&mdash;deep blues, greens, and yellow&mdash;and also featured Grecian-inspired patterns that added a heightened sense of dimension to the show. Plus, a surprising last look of feather-light tulle referenced&nbsp;Bj&ouml;rk's famed swan dress, with the neck of the elegant bird draped around the that of the model.
The collection was a breezy melange of signature Dior codes, new Chirui explorations, and an ode to the sculptural history of Grecian femininity.
