With Shapes of Poetry, UNIQLO and Cecilie Bahnsen reimagine romantic femininity through wearable silhouettes, delicate textures and everyday pieces for women and girls.

For years, Uniqlo has built its celebrated collaborations around fashion democracy, making designer fashion accessible and practical for every day. Its latest partnership with Cecilie Bahnsen moves into softer, more romantic territory while staying true to its LifeWear commitment.<o:p></o:p>
The Uniqlo and Cecilie Bahnsen 2026 Spring/Summer collection sees the theme of Shapes of Poetry capture the designer&rsquo;s feminine romance and made accessible to all. Bahnsen, who founded her Copenhagen label in 2015, gained international recognition when she was placed among the prestigious BOF 500 list as well as scored an LVMH Prize nomination. Beyond the accolades, it is the consistency of her vision that justifies the hype surrounding this collaboration.
&ldquo;I&rsquo;m so happy to be collaborating with Uniqlo for the first time,&rdquo; Bahnsen said. &ldquo;I&rsquo;ve always designed pieces to be lived in, worn and cherished every day, just as all Uniqlo LifeWear embodies. I&rsquo;m very excited to be able to share that with so many women and girls around the world through this collection.&rdquo;<o:p></o:p>

The collection itself translates her signature codes of floral appliqu&eacute;, puffed sleeves, gathered seams and voluminous skirts, into practical creations built for movement. The idea of clothes being &ldquo;lived in&rdquo; becomes central to the collection&mdash;dresses, for example, are cut in lightweight cottons for breathability and ease, sihouettes are soft without losing form or intent, and matching sets are refreshingly casual and modern. Feminine details like frills, shirring and floral motifs are reframed for commuting, weekends and daily errand runs.<o:p></o:p>
A key extension of the collaboration is Bahnsen&rsquo;s first girls&rsquo; line, which mirrors the adult collection, informed by motherhood and the designer&rsquo;s longstanding interest in children&rsquo;s wear. Dresses, T-shirts and skorts are designed with smart adjustments such as elasticated and adjustable waists as well as functional pockets, yet retain the same romantic detailing. <o:p></o:p>

&ldquo;Around the time UNIQLO opened its first store in Denmark in Copenhagen in 2019, I had an opportunity to meet Cecilie by chance,&rdquo; said Yukihiro Katsuta, Fast Retailing Group Senior Executive Officer and Head of R&amp;D for UNIQLO. &ldquo;I was immediately drawn to her approach to craftsmanship and hoped that one day we might have the opportunity to create something together.&rdquo;<o:p></o:p>
Seven years later, that meeting becomes a collection that offers feminine romanticism for any casual occasion, every day of the week. <o:p></o:p>

The collection is drops May 22nd at selected Uniqlo stores and prices start from RM49.90.<o:p></o:p>
