It was an absolute uproar a few weeks before the 2017 Victoria's Secret show in Shanghai when news of models being banned from entering China along with Katy Perry, who was set to perform at the event.
But alas, the show went with minimal hitches (Ming Xi fell on the runway!) and there's still a strong line-up of performers present including Harry Styles, Miguel, Leslie Odom Jr., Li Yundi and Jane Zhang.
While we all have to wait for the show to air on TV on 29th November (11 AM, GMT), here's all the big moments you need to know about the 2017 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in Shanghai.
Record number of Chinese models
This year also marks the year when Victoria's Secret cast the record number of Chinese models for the show – a total of EIGHT (which topped last year's record of four).
Joining our favourite Liu Wen is models Sui He, Ming Xi, Shu Pei, Xiao Wen Ju, Xin Xie and Estelle Chen. That's seven of them.
The last model (number 8) is one chosen via a Chinese reality TV show and you'll know who it is when the show airs on TV.
And let's hope VS will maintain this for the years ahead! So far, no numbers are given for the exact number of Asian models (from other ethnicities) present for the show.
The Victoria's Secret 2017 Fashion Show in Shanghai will officially air in the US at 11AM, 29th November 2017 (GMT) and will then roll out in selected countries throughout the festive season.
