Fifty-seven years after its birth, Van Cleef &amp; Arpels&rsquo; signature Alhambra continues to reinvent itself and delight. The lucky emblem of the Maison now sees four fresh iterations: two transformable long necklaces and two reversible rings.
Bearing 15 motifs, the new Magic Alhambra transformable long necklace can be worn in its original elongated form, or split into a shorter 11-motif necklace and a four-motif bracelet. Like all Magic Alhambra jewellery creations of the house, the piece gathers assorted Alhambra motifs in varying sizes &mdash; putting the necklace together requires artisanal mastery, with the house focusing on the sequence and spacing of the motifs, as well as the lengths of the chain segments, to ensure that the piece sits well. Available in guilloch&eacute; rose gold with mother-of-pearl, and guilloch&eacute; white gold with chalcedony and mother-of-pearl.

To match, there are two Vintage Alhambra reversible rings. On the first, grey mother-of-pearl captures attention with its lustre. The motif can be flipped, revealing guilloch&eacute; rose gold, anchored with a diamond. A second version features guilloch&eacute; white gold with a diamond. Similarly, the motif turns to unveil a surface of glimmering chalcedony. It&rsquo;s not just the central Alhambra motif that catch the eye &mdash; the body of each ring is made of three rows of delicate golden beads, which envelope the finger.
