From runway shows with masked attendees to creative livestream and video presentations, Milan&rsquo;s Spring/Summer 2021 shows thus far have been a welcomed treat amongst the turbulence of the ongoing pandemic. Although fall has just begun, L&rsquo;OFFICIEL is&nbsp;already looking forward to the warmer days awaiting us next year. Here, the stand out Spring/Summer 2021 trends from the top shows from the Italian capital&rsquo;s week of fashion.

Unconventional Knits

For&nbsp;Spring/Summer 2021,&nbsp;designers presented options wildly different yet just as unique: some with intricate needlework and embellishments, others with attention-grabbing prints. There were even&nbsp; different variations of the same styles: Prada&rsquo;s distressed sweaters were adorned with carefully-placed holes, while Marni&rsquo;s were perfectly rugged.

Matching Sets

Since the heydays of Coco Chanel and Azzedine Ala&iuml;a, matching sets are nothing new, but today&rsquo;s designers have kept them going strong. Spring/Summer 2021 runways modernized them by experimenting with different types of layering&mdash;like Sportmax&rsquo;s combination of sheer and opaque&mdash;and silhouettes&mdash;whether going the structured route of Alberta Ferretti&rsquo;s floral three-piece or the free-flowing route of Emporio Armani&rsquo;s monochrome asymmetrical cami and pants.

Peek-a-Boo Bras

Whether playing with neons like Versace or opting for an elegant black bra like Dolce and Gabbana, many were nodding to early &lsquo;00s style for&nbsp;Spring/Summer 2021 by showing some skin.&nbsp;
