The artist unpacks his trip to Tokyo for Chanel 2022/23 M&eacute;tiers d&rsquo;art show in an exclusive Q&amp;A.

What is your favourite aspect of the city? How would you define the overall vibe of Tokyo?&nbsp;
Tokyo is such a vibrant city. Its glamor and colorfulness are really invigorating.&nbsp;
 What do you like to do when you are in Tokyo?&nbsp;
When I&rsquo;m in Tokyo, I love to walk and look around the city. I enjoy walking along the streets and seeing people with different allures and personalities and feel the culture and vibe of the city.&nbsp;
 How does it feel to go to Tokyo with Chanel?&nbsp;
I&rsquo;ve been to Tokyo for travel or fan meetings. But it feels entirely different because it&rsquo;s my first time attending a fashion show here. I was so thrilled to be part of this special experience that combined Chanel's sophisticated sensibility with Tokyo's distinctive atmosphere.&nbsp;

&nbsp;What can you say of Tokyo in terms of creative effervescence?&nbsp;
Tokyo brings together so many people, and I think it enables the coexistence of unique and creative cultures, arts, and fashion styles here. This is where the ideas and creativity of different people come together in a creative synergy.&nbsp;
 What are your 3 favorite looks or pieces in this M&eacute;tiers d&rsquo;art collection and why?&nbsp;
It&rsquo;s really hard to choose just three because everything was so amazing. But the rich color combinations, sumptuous patterns and jewelry, and wide-cute jeans and pants were particularly memorable. They all have their own unique allure, but they also come together to create a harmonious look.&nbsp; 
The M&eacute;tiers d&rsquo;art collection is a celebration of the exceptional know-how of the House&rsquo;s artisans. What does that evoke for you and how do you feel when you experience such savoir-faire?&nbsp;
Having a chance to look at someone&rsquo;s work born from such passion and dedication is a special experience, it&rsquo;s like a glimpse of his or her life. I feel amazed by how one could build such know-how. And at the same time, it also inspires and resonates with me, although I work in a different field.&nbsp; 
How would you describe your evolving relationship with Chanel?&nbsp;
Before, Chanel was just one of many prestigious brands to me. But now that I&rsquo;m with Chanel, I&rsquo;m learning its history and the work behind it and seeing and feeling different things in the field of art through such diverse experiences. I think we can have a positive impact on each other to further grow our relationship.&nbsp;
