Model Crush: EZ, Model

A new week and a new crush of the rising stars of fashion, but this time, we go androgynous!
Reading time 2 minutes

The moment you set your sights on her, the first question asked would probably be "A boy or a girl?", but that doesn't matter for EZ (@ez_ez_ez_) because she can do both.

A South Korean model on the rise, EZ has set herself apart as one who can strut in both menswear and womenswear with poise, charm and uncanny sensuality. Add that to her angular boyish looks and feminine body, you have a star!

Who's this model?

Born and bred in South Korea, Lee Ji Hye was scouted in a party by Korean designer Seung Gun Park (Pushbutton) and from there, she was cast for a shoot and also close Pushbutton's runway show at Seoul Fashion Week.

And for that, she was asked to buzz but her hair and bleach it orange, both which she was more than game for.

From there, it was a quick rise to fame for this young model, who now identifies to the name EZ (a brisk Korean pronunciation of her firs name "Lee Ji").

What she did?

EZ has come a long way since her debut at Seoul Fashion Week. For one, she was the closing model at Alexander Wang's Fall 2017 show, which is also her big debut on the international stage.

Soon after, she also walked for Maison Margiela, Miu Miu, Balenciaga and Marc Jacobs. Since the last fashion week season was her first, we are definitely seeing more of her this September.

Why she’s one to watch?

Not only are we in love with her androgynous looks, her personality is also what captivates us the most with her "je ne sais quoi" attitude.

Calling Hedi Slimane as her favourite designer and Steven Meisel her favourite photographer, you know that this girl is up for some boundary-pushing fashion endeavours.

And her personal style, which is edgy street, is also a favourite among street style photographers around the world.

So, we are sure that we will see plenty of that blonde pixie-buzz cut strutting down the runway and side note, who else here thinks she'd make the perfect girl for a Calvin Klein campaign?
