Tilda Swinton's favorite designer, Haider Ackermann is named one of the main contenders to be the new creative director of the fashion house Lanvin, writes FashionNetwork referring to several sources.
Chinese conglomerate Fosun International acquired the brand Lanvin in February this year, after Olivier Lapidus departs from the brand after only 9 months as creative director.
With Ackermann, it is said that negotiations were held, but he is not the only candidate.
On the list are also French designer Simon Port Jacquemus of Jacquemus (who recently announced the launch of his own men's line) and the founder of Koché, Christelle Kocher.
Haider Ackerman left Berluti on 30 March, saying he plans to focus on developing his own brand.
Let's hope that the appointment announcement will come soon!
