Since the inception of Alessandro Michele, the house of Gucci has never cease to make the headlines with its every move and the latest is the announcent of its Gucci Cruise 2019 show.

This coming 30th May 2018, the Gucci Cruise show will be taking over Les Alyscamps, a UNESCO World Heritage site and milennia-old necropolis in the city of Arles, France.

Like Gucci's many past shows, Alessandro Michele has once again chosen a iconic cultural landmark as its venue.

The past included the Westminster Abbey in London in 2016, and the Palatina Gallery in Florence’s Palazzo Pitti last May (where we shot our latest cover).

For those of you who have yet step foot into Arles, it is actually the largest municipality in France, located on the Mediterranean coast, between Marseille and Montpellier.

And Les Alyscamps is an ancient cemetery site filled with wonders that hosts the final resting place of St. Trophimus and also a place where Vincent van Gogh and Paul Gauguin had painted side by side before.

And like its previous shows, this coming Gucci Cruise 2019 show also marks the first time ever that Alyscamps is to host such a huge event.

And we can't wait to be there to witness it all. Just six more months to go!
