Furla taps social media star Elisa Maino to celebrate the refreshed Furla Metropolis

The internet phenomenon fronts the new campaign for this season’s range of brightly-coloured, geometric silhouettes, and kicks off a dance challenge on the label’s official TikTok account.

Trends may come and go, but the crossbody bag is a forever classic. This wardrobe staple reigns supreme thanks to its hands-free appeal, making it a stylish yet sensible choice for anything and everything from a shopping spree to a night out on the town to a busy commute (remember those?).

The only problem, perhaps, would be the difficulty in deciding between the wealth of options on the market. But Furla makes that choice all too easy with its newly refreshed Metropolis bag, which truly ticks all the right boxes. 

One of the brand’s most popular designs, the bag returns this season in a renewed guise, featuring dynamic, geometric silhouettes in a lively monochromatic palette, matched with tone-on-tone ABS clasps.

To mark the occasion, Furla has tapped social media phenomenon Elisa Maino (@la_mainoo) to celebrate the refreshed Metropolis, as well as the launch of the label’s official TikTok account (@majno).

The 17-year-old influencer, who has over five million followers and 600 million views on the social platform, shows off the rounded variant in sunflower yellow, sapphire blue, and ruby red, wearing colour coordinated outfits against a similarly hued background.

Maino also kicks off the #furladance challenge on TikTok, with specially choreographed steps set to an upbeat original track. By using the dedicated hashtag, the community has the opportunity to express its creativity and participate in a brand experience to the rhythm of pure fun.
