As we welcome the Year of the Horse, the fashion world is looking for a balance between festive tradition and contemporary wearability. COS has answered that call with its latest limited-edition capsule collection, officially launched on 23 January 2026.
Inspired by themes of movement, renewal, and the vibrant spirit of the Spring Festival, this collection serves as a poetic tribute to the zodiac&rsquo;s most energetic sign through a lens of sophisticated minimalism.

The COS Year of the Horse collection stands out for its refined interpretation of seasonal motifs. Rather than relying on traditional iconography, the brand introduces hand-drawn horse motifs brought to life through fluid, linear compositions. These artistic prints mirror the natural vitality of the horse, blending seamlessly with the brand&rsquo;s signature silhouettes.

The collection is defined by luxurious textures, featuring rich red wool knits that offer a festive pop of colour alongside soft wool layers designed for seasonal transitions. From effortless matching sets to premium silk scarves and cotton accessories, every piece reflects a thoughtful balance of vibrant spring hues and grounded neutrals.

To celebrate the launch, COS hosted a spectacular interactive pop-up at Shanghai&rsquo;s historic Tianhou Palace, where the ancient temple grounds were transformed into a contemporary sanctuary that reimagined the atmosphere of a traditional Chinese teahouse.
Set against the backdrop of serene courtyards and historic architecture, the pop-up provided an immersive experience that blended tradition with modern culture.
Visitors were invited to explore the capsule collection while participating in curated tea workshops and contributing to an interactive wishing tree. This fusion of heritage and modern design perfectly reflects the core philosophy of COS, creating a space that is considered, culturally resonant and timelessly elegant.
