Need something to beat the heat and calm your souls this season? Time to get into the new Nespresso Malaysia and Crème De La Crème collaboration, where the celebrated coffee brand partners with a renowned dessert eatery to create a series of delectable dessert and ice cream flavours.
The Nespresso Barista Creations for Ice has always been a summer staple and a classic for iced coffee flavours, where it features a range of coffees that have been specially created to bring out the perfect harmony between coffee and ice.
And this year, Nespresso unveils the latest flavour – the Limited Edition Coconut Flavour over Ice –, which is now reinterpreted into delectable desserts by Crème De La Crème.
For this unique collaboration, Crème De La Crème has created two special plated desserts and two ice cream flavours. On the first plate, we see Tropical Profusion, a coconut-shaped dessert featuring the Nespresso aromatic ‘Limited Edition Coconut Flavour over Ice’ ice cream, fresh coconut sorbet and salted caramel ice cream with coffee joconde; and comes with a side of a Nespresso capsule-shaped side with mango passion sorbet with coconut ice cream.
The other plated edition is the Cuppa Love that has the Limited Edition Coconut Flavour over Ice ice cream, mascarpone ice cream, orange rosemary sorbet and coffee joconde with a side capsule of Limited Edition Coconut Flavour over Ice ice cream & fresh coconut sorbet with coffee crumble.
As for ice cream flavours, we see two flavours – Coffee De Coco and Coffee Crunch – where they utilised different amounts of Nespresso coffee shots and different condiments.
The first uses a Single-shot Nespresso Limited Edition Coconut Flavour over Ice and is swirled in combination with fresh young sweet coconut sorbet, while the Coffee Crunch uses a double-shot and is paired with homemade coconut oat crumble for that extra crunch.
And to finish it off, the dessert expert also made special beverage concoctions including Coco Colada, where an iced cup of Limited Edition Coconut Flavour over Ice is topped with coconut sorbet and gula melaka chunks; and the Coco Affogato, where mascarpone ice cream and coconut oat crumble is topped with the Limited Edition Coconut Flavour over Ice.
