The best way to wear preppy style is to make it look effortless.&nbsp;UNIQLO's newest collections of linen shirts, polo shirts, and relaxed pants exude a laid-back look, typically associated with neatness and originality.The outfit looks appealing because it looks natural. The proportions are loose, the textures are inviting, and the whole vibe feels modern. This approach focuses more on personality and less on performance, allowing individuals to express their unique flair and preferences rather than conforming to strict fashion standards. It also offers a connection to reality, where good style is about cosiness along with knowing what works.

When you hear the word &ldquo;preppy&rdquo;, what immediately pops to mind?
<o:p></o:p>DAIYAN:&nbsp;For me, it&rsquo;s a style that&rsquo;s smart and whimsy at the same time.
NADHIR: For me, &ldquo;preppy&rdquo; leans towards a kind of conventional yet contemporary Japanese aesthetic &mdash; very intentional, very clean. That balance between restraint.

Does having collaborated on several projects already make shooting for this cover easier, or does it do the opposite?
<o:p></o:p>DAIYAN: More than a constant collaborator, what makes shooting this cover a breeze is that Nadhir is a very close friend of mine. The chemistry of two people who know each other more than just from work creates a flow that&rsquo;s meaningful, natural, and comfortable. For example, I can already tell how he&rsquo;s feeling from his mannerisms on set without the need for him to tell me anything. I love Nadhir; we&rsquo;ve been friends for so many years. And not just industry peers &mdash; we&rsquo;re friends who actually hang out and talk about things that matter. I&rsquo;d like to think that outside of the social demands of our careers, we&rsquo;re very private people, and I&rsquo;m very thankful we both exist in each other&rsquo;s little orbits.<o:p></o:p>
NADHIR: Honestly, it makes everything more straightforward in the best way. There&rsquo;s already a rhythm, an unspoken understanding between everyone involved. At this point in my life, especially approaching 30, I value efficiency and clarity. Less overthinking, more trust in the process. It becomes less about figuring things out and more about executing with confidence&hellip; which, in a way, feels like a more &ldquo;adult&rdquo; kind of comedy &mdash; you don&rsquo;t force it, you just let it land.<o:p></o:p>

What rule do you follow to decide if something is worth your time and effort?
DAIYAN: I&rsquo;ve reached a point in my career where I am very intentional with every move that I make. I will only take on a project that moves me in the direction that I want to head. With experience, you will know which projects will effectively carry the trajectory of how you want to shape your career. I want to always feel like I&rsquo;m stepping into a project wholeheartedly, knowing that the outcome will take me places that I actually want to go.<o:p></o:p>
NADHIR: It really comes down to the people. Good collaboration, good energy, good intentions. I&rsquo;ve learned that the environment you work in shapes the outcome just as much as the script itself. When you&rsquo;re surrounded by the right people, everything flows better, creatively and personally. So I choose projects where I know there&rsquo;s mutual respect, openness, and a shared vision.<o:p></o:p>

I think we can all agree that routine and discipline are the foundations of success. What personal guideline or philosophy has had the most influence on your work style?<o:p></o:p>
DAIYAN: As a creative, I believe that having a structured life, although it may sound contradictory, will greatly help you navigate both work and personal life. I am a girl who relies on to-do lists, tables, reminders, alarms, and checkpoints, ensuring that no notifications go unchecked. I am neat, and when I do experience chaos, it's organised. I always ask my staff to have a system that works personally for them. I have a strong affinity for efficient personal systems.<o:p></o:p>
NADHIR: Bikin selagi mampu &mdash; which roughly translates to &ldquo;keep creating as long as you&rsquo;re capable.&rdquo;<o:p></o:p>It&rsquo;s something I carry into everything &mdash; acting, directing, even daily life. There&rsquo;s no perfect timing, no perfect condition. If you have the ability, you do it. That mindset keeps me moving, keeps me grounded, and reminds me not to wait for ideal circumstances to create something meaningful.<o:p></o:p>

What has life taught you recently that no script, song, or set could?<o:p></o:p>
DAIYAN: You really are the author of your life. Whatever you want to become, you can. Setting yourself free comes from within; there really are no scripts nor songs that could narrate the life that you want to have for yourself. Some art forms would be able to relate on a personal level because that&rsquo;s what art does, but we have the power to really craft our own selves and become art, expressing our unique experiences and emotions through our choices and actions.<o:p></o:p>
NADHIR: Losing, really. Losing is winning. if you&rsquo;re paying attention. It strips you down, shows you what actually matters, and forces growth in ways comfort never could.<o:p></o:p>
