National Gallery Singapore to host Yayoi Kusama

This is the first major retrospective of Yayoi Kusama and will see over 120 works exhibited.

A name all too familiar with most of us, Yayoi Kusama is one of fashion and art's favourite artist known for her iconic dots and pumpkins masterpieces.

And to the fashion world, we also loved her iconic Louis Vuitton capsule collection in 2012 that set the world on a frenzy.

Now Yayoi Kusama fans can rejoice once again as National Gallery Singapore will be hosting a major retrospective of the artist in the coming month of June.

Set to be Yayoi's first major retrospective in Southeast Asia and will feature over 120 masterpieces spanning over seven decades of work.

Titled Yayoi Kusama: Life Is The Heart Of A Rainbow, the retrospective is managed by the museum’s curators Russell Storer and Adele Tan.

 

The Yayoi Kusama: Life Is The Heart Of A Rainbow will be held from 10th June to 3rd September 2017 at the National Gallery Singapore. For more information, visit www.nationalgallery.sg.
