Set to perform in Kuala Lumpur this December, BTS&rsquo; long-awaited return to Malaysia marks a powerful homecoming &mdash; and one of the most anticipated tour stops of their new global era.

After an 11-year wait, BTS are officially coming back to Kuala Lumpur &mdash; a moment Malaysian ARMYs have been holding onto for more than a decade.
The global superstars will take the stage on 12th December 2026, marking their first concert in Malaysia since 2015, when they last appeared during their early Red Bullet tour years. Since then, BTS have risen to become a defining cultural force, shaping music, fashion and global pop culture &mdash; making their return to Kuala Lumpur feel both emotional and historic.

The announcement was unveiled via fan platform Weverse earlier this week, with the official tour poster dropping just after midnight and instantly sending fan communities into celebration mode.
The KL dates are part of BTS&rsquo; expansive stadium world tour running from April 2026 to March 2027, their first full-group tour in seven years. The tour opens with a three-night stadium run in Goyang, South Korea, before travelling across North America, Europe, Oceania, East Asia and Southeast Asia, with more dates in Japan and the Middle East expected to follow.

A standout moment will see BTS return to Busan on 12th and 13th June, coinciding with the group&rsquo;s 13th anniversary and honouring the city where their story began.
For Malaysian fans, the December shows carry added emotional weight. BTS&rsquo; last full-group appearance before military enlistment was the Yet to Come concert in Busan in 2022. With all seven members now reunited, the upcoming tour signals a full-scale comeback &mdash; and a long-overdue reunion with fans.
With a new album teased for release on 20th March, BTS&rsquo; return to Kuala Lumpur marks not just another tour stop, but the arrival of a new era &mdash; one that Malaysian fans have waited 11 years to experience.
