Two words: Red Riot. That's the best way to describe the scene at L'Officiel Singapore's 12th-anniversary party, which took place last night on 12 March at CÉ LA VI. Matching the theme of its March 2019 issue fronted by virtual It-girl Lil Miquela, guests arrived in sizzling looks in shades of red to celebrate the magazine's birthday bash at Singapore's hottest rooftop nightlife destination.
With a stunning city skyline as the backdrop, the party kicked off with plenty of exciting activities to keep our guests entertained at every turn. After making their way through the red carpet entrance, partygoers could try their hand at MTM Skincare's claw machine that was packed with various attractive prizes to be won.
Later, they could pose with their winning smiles over at the brand's interactive photobooth. Speaking of posing, that's what you could find guests doing at the blazing red Cage Arena, which was flanked by models who got temperatures rising all night. Swatch's holographic pop-up booth was equally hard to miss, featuring Insta-friendly neon signs and its Spring/Summer 2019 collection.
To keep our guests fuelled throughout the sensational evening, they were treated to a selection of Havana and Chivas cocktails concocted specially for the birthday bash over at the bar. Nearby, there was even a display of Chivas's finest offerings for whisky aficionados to marvel at.
Nothing gets a party going better than great music. Singapore’s most stylish rapper Mean, aka The Dapper Rapper, wowed the crowd with a show-stopping performance. He performed his hits "Fall Out", "EZY" and "Trollin’" while busting out some killer moves that kept his audience transfixed. After that, DJ CC Sound Factory kept up the energetic mood of the party with a thumping set infused with pop, dance, electro and house tracks.
Later in the night, CEO of Heart Media, Oliver Burlot, L’Officiel Singapore’s Editor-in-chief, Ian Lee, and the rest of the L'Officiel Singapore team took to the stage and toasted to an amazing 12 years of the magazine with a towering Delcie's Desserts and Cakes red velvet birthday cake, champers, and confetti.
To cap off the festivities, partygoers walked away with some cool prizes from the social media contests, which included a night out a CÉ LA VI for a party of 10 worth $1,500, a Furla Mini handbag, Swatch watches from the brand’s Spring/Summer 2019 collection, MTM Skincare hampers, a Pernod Ricard drink kit featuring a bottle of Havana and a Chivas blending kit, two Emsculpt sessions at Mendis Aesthetics and Surgery worth $1,000 each, Onitsuka Tiger Ok Basketball Lo sneakers, Christofle vouchers, Salvatore Ferragamo Fragrances, and a pair of flight tickets to Japan on Thai Airways.
