Our favourite and perennial &ldquo;Art &amp;&nbsp;Design&rdquo; theme makes its annual appearance for the L&#39;Officiel Malaysia June/July 2021 issue.

A staple for our magazine, every year we celebrate the best of art and design in a variety of fields from fashion and beauty to art and architecture, we explore how art plays a part in our lives &ndash; no matter the industry or playing field.

And for this exciting&nbsp;issue, we have one of Malaysia&#39;s top model and budding actress Shir Chong (@shir.oh.shir) front the cover in the latest Gucci collection and also stand on the centrestafe of our&nbsp;cover&nbsp;editorial spread titled Second Bloom, styled by our creative director Ian Loh and photographed by Edmund Lee.

This year&rsquo;s reprise is particularly meaningful as it celebrates the L&rsquo;Officiel centenary filled with not just 100 years of trailblazing and avant-garde fashion but editorial content that has courted, indulged and enjoyed a full and fruitful liaison with the art world as chronicled by Fashion Imitates Art.

The Pre-Fall collections are rolling in and our encapsulation in Safe And Sound highlights the most bankable of them offering practical and essential choices for the transition of seasons. What&rsquo;s In Store gives a glimpse of the lushest spaces around the world offering a unique retail experience in creating a lasting impression and, ultimately, brand loyalty for luxury bijoux.

This year&rsquo;s bounty of contemporary artist and designer collaborations in fine watchmaking as illustrated in The Canvas Of Time reveal covet-worthy creations for horology and art fiends in equal measure. In the world of high 
perfumery, Henry Jacques surpasses all standards with its art of haute parfumerie and the bespoke design of the perfume and its chrysalis.

Lastly, cushion the impact of escalating global property prices with Big Little Lairs, a modern exercise in interior architecture and design showing us how to live large in the tiny spaces of today&rsquo;s micro-apartments.
