In conjunction with World Food Day, set to happen on 16th October 2019, Michael Kors and Lupita Nyong'o have teamed up for the fashion label's annual Watch Hunger Stop campaign to support the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) and its school meals program.
Themed "FOOD IS LOVE", the 2019 edition of the Michael Kors Watch Hunger Stop marks the seventh year since its debut and this year, Michael Kors is launching a new LOVE T-shirt and tote design, featuring a monochrome shade, with a striking design where proceeds will go to WFP.
“Watch Hunger Stop helps to fund meals for schools, which has a direct impact on leveling the performance playing field for underprivileged students. When students can eat, they can perform better in school which in turn leads to greater opportunities in life."
– Lupita Nyong'o
The collection will be available in-store and online starting 1 October, all the profits go to the children in need through the World Food Programme.
