Follow now: Industrie Africa, an online platform for African designers
We all know that Africa is vast and its creativity is infinite.
Nisha Kanabar and Georgia Bobley, experts in the fashion industry with years at Vogue in the back, have just launched the Industrie Africa platform.
The project aims to become the "Wikipedia" of new African designers, with more than 80 designers from 24 different countries in Africa.
The pair took a year to catalogue new talents, which are divided into the platform by country, category (womenswear, menswear and accessories) and sustainability.
The new portal aims to attract new perspective to the different visions of African fashion and to become a hub for buyers, fashion editors, consumers and curious.
The Nigerian writer Chiamamanda Ngozi Adichie is also the cover of the 5-year commemorative edition of L'Officiel Italia, October 2017.
With photos of Ben Pier and styling by Ahnna Lee. She wears Dior, Nkwo, Fashpa and The Ladymaker.
