The luxury label honours its history with Hollywood for its Cruise 2024 collection.

For its Cruise 2024 collection (the first Chanel runway show since the <a href="https://www.lofficielmalaysia.com/fashion/every-celebrity-chanel-look-red-carpet-met-gala-2023-karl-lagerfeld" target="_blank" rel="noopener">2023 Met Gala</a> honoring the late <a href="https://www.lofficielmalaysia.com/fashion/every-celebrity-chanel-look-red-carpet-met-gala-2023-karl-lagerfeld" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Karl Lagerfeld</a>), Chanel whisks to Planet Hollywood &mdash; paying homage to the decades-long history between the luxury label and the City of Angels.
Having taken place in Los Angeles, the room atmosphere set the mood for the show as guests found themselves traveling through a glamorous black-and-white Hollywood studio to a palm tree-filled sandy beach.

"Between a tribute to the glamour of great film stars and evoking the world of fun to be had with aerobics, sports and roller skating, between the dream on one hand and what you want to wear on the other, it's all a question of balance," said <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/chanel-22-bag-numerology-virginie-viard" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Creative Director Virginie Viard</a> per the show notes.
While the collection paid homage to the cinematic city, Viard did not fail to include the quintessential <a href="https://www.lofficielmalaysia.com/fashion/jennie-is-the-new-face-of-chanel-22-bag" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Chanel</a> codes typically incorporated in each collection. Tweed suits, sequin adornments, and feminine silhouettes all made an appearance, staying true to the <a href="https://www.lofficielmalaysia.com/fashion/jennie-is-the-new-face-of-chanel-22-bag" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Chanel</a> woman.
It was a line that spoke to the numerous types of Hollywood women seen throughout the years. From the '60s businesswoman in her tweed suit to the '80s fitness instructor exercising in her leg warmers and high-cut bodysuit to the 2014 party girl dancing the night away in her sequin minidress, it was an imaginative and celebrity collection.
As expected, the French fashion house did not fail to attract major celebrity power. Stars such as Riley Keough, Margot Robbie, Elle Fanning, Issa Rae, Lily Collins, and Sofia Richie all sat front row &mdash; proving that this fashion event was also a star-studded affair.
