Marking Christopher Bailey's last collection for Burberry, the coming Burberry February 2018 show is one that gives hope and love to the world.
His swansong collection, Christopher reinterprets the house's iconic check into a colourful rendition – The Rainbow Check –, a print that pays homage to the LGBTQ+ community's rainbow icon, a symbol of optimism and inclusiveness.
"My final collection here at Burberry is dedicated to — and in support of — some of the best and brightest organisations supporting LGBTQ+ youth around the world. There has never been a more important time to say that in our diversity lies our strength and our creativity."
If that wasn't enough of a statement of Burberry's support for the LGBTQ+ communities, the brand has also made donations to three charities dedicated to these communities: the Albert Kennedy Trust, the Trevor Project and ILGA.
Don't miss Christopher Bailey's monumental February 2018 collection. Burberry will stream its runway show which you can watch live here on Saturday, 17 February at 5PM (London) / Sunday, 18 February at 1AM (Malaysia).
The Rainbow check pieces in the collection will be available for purchase globally right after the show on Burberry.com.
Also, be sure to head over to Burberry's Apple Music page for the addition of the final tracks to its 17 Years of Soundtracks playlist.
