For the past eight years, Maria Grazia&nbsp;Chiuri has made several references to the strength of women, and this season is no exception. Inspired by archery, a sport frequently portrayed in different narratives, the designer sought a balance between legend and reality for Dior&rsquo;s spring/summer 2025 collection.

Plunging necklines and one-shoulder dresses dominated the runway, highlighting the elegance of the silhouette while combining Dior&rsquo;s signature taste for edginess. The collection&rsquo;s formal dresses mirrored the one-shouldered bodysuits, echoing Chiuri&rsquo;s greatly successful haute couture. Pieces also incorporated the hourglass shape of Christian Dior&rsquo;s all-important Bar jacket. In the same way, Chiuri creates outfits that are structured but lightweight enough for everyday wear. Case in point: one cotton dress, which featured the defined bustline and straps of a corset, got the point across.&nbsp;

Not only that, but Dior&rsquo;s iconic accessories also found new uses. Models swung the iconic cannage leather Lady Dior bag over their torsos rather than carrying it by its handles, while a new key bag showed up &ndash; a sturdy rectangular tote with round edges made of old leather &ndash; that was both beautiful and practical.
