Creative Director Heidi Slimane debuts Celine's women's Spring/Summer 2022 collection with the special appearance of Lisa.

Just when we thought the spring fashion season had come to a close, Creative Director Hedi Slimane returned with a beachy, street-infused collection for Celine. The women's Spring/Summer 2022 offering flourishes with the added infusion of Parisian attitude from its tanned and leggy models all making their way along the Promenade de Anglais.
The French seafront dates back to 18th century English aristocrats, who constructed the promenade for warm-weather, family getaways. The promotional video for Slimane's Baie Des Anges largely takes place in Nice's Centenarian Palace Le Negresco, an exquisite architectural feat that opened its doors in 1913.

Baie Des Anges features oversized blazers, bombers, and bottoms, as well as a fine rotation of leather goods and black shades. Though the pieces themselves are typical of this particular stylistic moment, Slimane elevates them to the satorial level we are accustomed to seeing on jetsetting models, actresses, and influencers.
Celine has given special thanks to Kaia Gerber and Lalisa Manobal&mdash;&mdash;known mononymously as K-pop superstar and Blackpink member Lisa (and the maison's new haute parfumerie ambassador)&mdash;for this latest outing, both of whom can be seen in the new collection within the halls of the Palace Le Negresco. Like the rest of the models, they are alternatively cast in black and white and soft, glittering lights, all to the tune of &ldquo;Vitamin C&rdquo; by Can.
