Both celebrated for carving distinct paths in entertainment &mdash; Amelia with her expanding slate of film projects and growing ventures in production and business, and Meerqeen with his genre-spanning performances and dedicated global following &mdash; the duo represent a generation redefining success on their own terms.

As both talents reflect on relevance beyond visibility, choosing balance over burnout, and staying true to self in an age of constant exposure, the story sets the tone for a year defined not by noise but by clarity, growth, and everyday ease.

When people talk about &ldquo;mainstream&rdquo; today (be it content or pop culture in general), it no longer means just ratings or box office. What does being relevant actually mean to you in 2026?
AMELIA: I don&rsquo;t think relevance is something I spend a lot of time thinking about. I see it more in terms of what feels relevant to me: what I&rsquo;m doing and who I want to be. When you&rsquo;re building an audience or creating something public-facing, the goal is to form a community of like-minded people. For me, as long as I&rsquo;m curating myself and my work in line with what feels relevant to me, that naturally becomes what&rsquo;s relevant to my community as well.
MEERQEEN: I think in today's scene, where social media is king, and constant exposure becomes a commodity, your quality of work becomes doubly important. When everyone can see everyone, it all depends on who shines the most.

LO: Both of you rose to fame in very different ways. At what point did you realise your career was no longer about proving yourselves, but about choosing what not to do?
A: So, I&rsquo;ve worked in entertainment for a very long time. It&rsquo;s not to say that I feel like I have nothing to prove anymore, and I don&rsquo;t ever want to feel that too. I feel like, in some capacity, I want to have something to strive towards, and I am challenging myself. This means that I am pushing myself outside of my comfort zone, and I am constantly growing.
M: I think you reach that point when you&rsquo;ve proven to yourself what you&rsquo;re capable of. From there, it&rsquo;s no longer about chasing the next high, but about balance, making choices that keep you grounded and sustainable so you don&rsquo;t burn out or lose yourself.
LO: Fashion has become part of how actors communicate identity. How conscious are you of the image you project &mdash; and where do you draw the line between style and self?
A: I think it&rsquo;s about creating a vibe and expressing your personality. It&rsquo;s how people see you before you even talk, and I think it is a very powerful way to communicate. I think style should be an extension of yourself, and it is one and the same thing.
M: I view my style as a responsibility for my fans, hence why I'm very particular about it. However, that is not to be mistaken with my sense of self. It's like keeping a work-life balance.

LO: UNIQLO is known for designing pieces that move with real life, not just moments. What does &ldquo;everyday confidence&rdquo; mean to you, both on set and off duty?
A: This is something about UNIQLO that I think is very impressive. It is the fact that comfort is never sacrificed, and I really like that. I think to be fully yourself, you need to be comfortable. That&rsquo;s part of everyday confidence: Knowing that you&rsquo;re representing yourself in a way that is stylish for you and is comfortable for you.
M: It's when every step you take with every breath, every twitch of muscles, all moving as free as you want, because you, your existence, your being, unapologetically exist. That's confidence. Confidence in your rights to exist.
LO: UNIQLO Denim is all about good quality and a great fit for everyday life. How does UNIQLO&rsquo;s approach to denim reflect on your personal style, and how would you wear your denim?
A: I love denim so much, and I wear it almost every day. I really love UNIQLO Denim for how comfortable it is and how diverse the silhouettes are. I particularly love the more relaxed fits, which give it a more streetwear vibe, and if you strap a belt on, it can be more preppy.
M: Denim represents grit. UNIQLO dares to ask the question: Can grit be pretty? Can hard work look good? It's about finding beauty in adversity.

LO: As we enter 2026, looking ahead, what kind of projects would signal the next chapter for you?
A: I am doing a lot of films this year as well, which I&rsquo;m very excited for. So hopefully, there will be more expansion on the roles that I will take on. On my business side, I am planning a lot of cool, new things for both Pickle Depot and my production company. So, I hope this will push me outside my comfort zone and spark more growth for myself.
M: I&rsquo;m thinking something outside my range, while still staying true to my core, my own sense of self. Get a style that fits &ldquo;you&rdquo;.
