How it works is the Coanda airflow will lift the longer hairs and tame the shorter strands underneath, resulting in a smooth and shiny finish. We asked the stylist at Dyson if we can replace our hairdryer with Airwrap&trade;, and the answer is yes.

No more swapping barrels
If there&rsquo;s one thing to complain about the Airwrap&trade;, it&rsquo;s how we have to swap the barrels in order to change the direction of the curl.
But the change is here, Dyson doesn't only think ahead of their clients but also listen to them: we can now create both inward and outward waves with the same barrels by just switching the airflow direction. The result is bouncy, voluminous, lifted locks with silky gloss and tamed flyaways.&nbsp;
