It was then we witnessed the power of the OPPO Reno11 Pro 5G smartphone's camera technology and we know that it will be a camera powerhouse for 2024.
Post-cover shoot, we were given the chance to test out the phone ourselves and here is our in-depth look at the phone's new features, design and technology.

The OPPO Reno11 Pro 5G sets itself apart with a captivating design that seamlessly blends elegance and durability. For our review, we got the Pearl White design that is inspired by the sea and mother-of-pearl material.
Constructed with a mix of polycarbonate and glass, the Pearl White 3D-etched finish resembles mother-of-pearl, offering a unique and premium aesthetic. The 3D curved glass on both the front and back, coupled with a polished camera island, not only adds to the visual appeal but also enhances the overall feel of the device.
The marble-like finish doesn't just look good; it feels nice to touch and effectively resists dust and fingerprints, maintaining a clean and smudge-free rear panel. The thin bezels and curved edges of the 3D curved display glass on the front, featuring an AMOLED panel, contribute to a modern and sleek look

The OPPO Reno11 Pro 5G boasts an impressive camera system that elevates the smartphone photography experience. The 50-megapixel main camera, equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS), ensures sharp and vibrant images even in challenging conditions.
Complementing this is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, expanding the horizons for creative shots, and a 32MP telephoto camera tuned for stunning portraits, while the front-facing 32MP camera completes the setup, delivering high-quality selfies.
What sets the Reno11 Pro apart is the integration of the HyperTone Imaging Engine, enhancing colour reproduction, depth, and overall image quality. OPPO's Portrait Expert Engine, powered by advanced AI algorithms, takes portrait photography to new heights with improved subject and scene recognition, skin and facial feature protection, and superior background optimization.

Another great improvement that paved the way for OPPO Reno11 Pro 5G is the operating system. In the new smartphone, it runs on ColorOS 14, based on Android 14, introducing a host of innovative features that enhance the overall user experience.
The File Dock feature simplifies file organization and management, allowing users to effortlessly drag and drop items across supported apps. This feature, when coupled with the Smart Sidebar, creates a seamless and efficient workflow.
Another notable addition is the Smart Touch feature's upgrade, enabling the extraction of text from images, providing a convenient way to handle textual content. "Smart Image Matting" is a valuable feature that lets users select foreground objects in images, turning them into transparent PNGs for easy sharing and saving. The software experience is further enriched by the ability of ColorOS 14 to sync files across devices using the same Oppo account, providing a seamless and integrated user experience.
