Johnnie Walker and Olivier Rousteing are redefining the landscape of creative collaboration.

Building on the triumph of The Couture Expression collection introduced in March, Johnnie Walker continues its creative dialogue with Olivier Rousteing. Their latest Johnnie Walker Vault release, The Couture Blend, reunites Rousteing with Master Blender Dr. Emma Walker to craft a limited-edition whisky that embodies the fusion of art, innovation and luxury.

The Couture Blend serves as a &ldquo;liquid manifesto&rdquo; fusing style, balance and spirit. Dr. Emma Walker carefully selected 10 exquisite whiskies &mdash; among them, ghost whiskies from the long-closed Port Dundas and Caledonian distilleries, vintage malts from the 1980s and 1990s such as Benrinnes, Cragganmore and Cameronbridge, and refined modern expressions from Cardhu, Roseisle and Teaninich. They are drawn from the Johnnie Walker Vault &mdash; an unparalleled library of 500 rare whiskies, some aged over 40 years, that pay homage to Olivier Rousteing&rsquo;s 40th birthday, symbolising his continued evolution in creativity and confidence.

Rousteing lends his artistic hand to the decanter&rsquo;s creation, transforming the classic Johnnie Walker square form into a work of architectural beauty. Sculpted from pure crystal and finished with gold-plated details and a sharply defined geometric stopper, the vessel reflects his signature balance of restraint and indulgence. Only 1,500 numbered decanters are available globally.

To mark the world premiere of The Couture Blend, the brand hosted an exclusive two-day global launch in Singapore, an immersive showcase where whisky craftsmanship met couture artistry in a symphony of sight, scent and taste. We were truly honoured to be among the first to experience it.
Atop the Sands SkyPark, the exclusive dinner brought together stars like Lee Dong-Wook and Dara Park from South Korea, T&oacute;c Ti&ecirc;n from Vietnam, Apo Wattanagitiphat from Thailand, and Singapore&rsquo;s Jamie Chua and Ed Russell. Guests savoured a four-course menu by Executive Chef Greg Bess, paired with rare single malts such as Port Ellen 1978, Caledonian 1977 and Cardhu 12 Year Old Special Release. The evening reached its peak with a mesmerising holographic reveal of The Couture Blend, offering guests an immersive taste of its depth and artistry.

The celebration continued at MARQUEE Singapore with a high-energy Blue Label after-party, featuring engaging rituals, couture-inspired photo spots and exclusive signature cocktails. The next day unfolded in contrast with an inspiring session at Spago by Wolfgang Puck, where Dr. Emma Walker and Global Brand Ambassador Ewan Gunn guided us through the intricate blending philosophy of the Johnnie Walker Vault. Under their expert eye, we created our own bespoke mini-blends, a fitting finale to an unforgettable experience.
