The Singaporean entrepreneur brings her beauty empire to the Land of Smiles.

Singaporean beauty entrepreneur Kim Lim celebrated her 32nd birthday with an extravaganza at Capella Bangkok. The occasion was not just a declaration of self-love but a commemoration of her business milestones &mdash; in particular her foray into Thailand &mdash; as well as honouring those who have contributed to her success.

Close to 250 friends and family from around the region &mdash; including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and Korea &mdash; flew in to Bangkok to join in on the festivities. Among the star-studded attendees, we spotted our very own&nbsp;<a href="https://www.instagram.com/carriewst/?hl=en" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Carrie Wong</a>,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/mickey-and-friends-glenn-yong-tasha-low-tommy-hilfiger-disney-tommy-collection" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Glenn Yong</a>&nbsp;and celebrity hairstylist David Gan, Thai actresses&nbsp;<a href="https://www.instagram.com/patriciagood/?hl=en" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Patricia Good</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.instagram.com/thisisbebe/?hl=en" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bebe</a>, and former Big Bang member Seungri.

 The party&rsquo;s sophisticated black-and-white theme reflected Lim&rsquo;s coming-of-age as well as her always-impeccable style. Standing against this monochromatic backdrop is&nbsp;a two-metre tall fresh floral bouquet &mdash; the biggest ever created by&nbsp;<a href="https://www.instagram.com/thefloralatelier.co/?hl=en" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Floral Atelier Singapore</a>&nbsp;&mdash; made with over ten thousand stems of hydrangeas, roses, Vandas and other purple blooms.
 Out at the specially-created floral garden in Capella&rsquo;s courtyard, Lim and guests were treated to a showstopping fireworks display, while a surprise birthday greeting video by&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/culture/all-celebrities-spotted-at-wimbledon-2023-tennis-style-kate-middleton-david-beckham" target="_blank" rel="noopener">David Beckham</a>,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.instagram.com/jessica.syj/?hl=en" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jessica Jung</a>,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.instagram.com/iamhearte/?hl=en" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Heart Evangelista</a>,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.instagram.com/kanelk_k/?hl=en" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kane Lim</a>&nbsp;and others awaited them at the gala dinner inside.&nbsp;

The merrymaking continued with an afterparty featuring a killer lineup of&nbsp;<a href="https://www.instagram.com/djglory/?hl=en" target="_blank" rel="noopener">DJ Glory</a>,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.instagram.com/djpapermache/?hl=en" target="_blank" rel="noopener">DJ Paper Mache</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.instagram.com/djkikie_kie/?hl=en" target="_blank" rel="noopener">DJ Kikie</a>, with Lim taking centre stage to fire off a giant confetti gun as &ldquo;Kim Lim Rocks!&rdquo; pulsed to the beat behind her.
Lim is expanding her beauty empire to Thailand, and plans to roll out her latest range of products and services over the next couple of months. In Singapore, she owns Papilla Haircare, Illumia Therapeutics and Illumia Medical, whose demand has grown beyond local shores. Currently based in Bangkok to oversee the expansion, Lim will also dedicate her time towards interacting with the locals and helping the less privileged there.
