October marks the global Breast Cancer Awareness Month and every year, we push to do our parts to cheer for the survivors and fighters of breast cancer in the shade of pink, and at the same time, raise knowledge and awareness to fight against it.
And for all the Malaysians out there, besides getting yourself a breast cancer test, there are more plenty of ways you can support Breast Cancer Awareness in Kuala Lumpur.
So, let's get pink this month!
Pink Afternoon Tea at Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur
The prestigious afternoon tea at Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur just got a pink dress up for this October with Malaysian designer Celest Thoi.
Working with Mandarin Oriental's Executive Pastry Chef Antony Hoyle, the hotel presents the Pink Afternoon Tea consisting an array of pastries, finger sandwiches and scones, all delicately adorned in pink, promising an indulgent afternoon tea session.
With each serving of Pink Afternoon Tea, Mandarin Oriental will contribute 10% of the sale to Pink Ribbon Wellness (L) Foundation to support their mission in fighting against breast cancer and spreading the knowledge of it.

#TimeToEndBreastCancer presented by Estée Lauder Companies
Evelyn H. Lauder, who co-created the Pink Ribbon, has started the Estée Lauder Companies' Breast Cancer Campaign back in 1992 and in the past 26 years, the campaign has been inspiring hope and love.
This year, titled #TimeToEndBreastCancer, the Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Campaign is raising an even more powerful voice to increase education and unlock more clues about causes and prevention.
In Malaysia, we're able to contribute to the campaign's fundraising goal of US$8 million(RM34.13 million) by purchasing the Pink Ribbon Products of this year:
Alia B's Tit Wink collection for the National Cancer Society Malaysia
The Tit Wink collection by Alia B is an ode from designer Alia Bastamam to her friend, the late Nelleisa Omar who battled with breast cancer and founded apparel line The Godmothers, to spread courage and raise funds for National Cancer Society of Malaysia ( NCSM ).
To take this tribute further, all proceeds of the Tit Wink collection will be channelled to the National Cancer Society Malaysia.
