Behind Billie Eilish's music is a brother-sister duo that started at the age of 12. Finneas O&rsquo;Connell, Eilish&rsquo;s older brother, is the producing mastermind behind the sound of hit songs from Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, and Halsey.
O&rsquo;Connell has eight Grammy Awards (and counting), racking in Producer of the Year, Album of the Year, and Best Engineered Album for his work on Eilish&rsquo;s multi-platinum album When We Fall Asleep Where Do We Go.
With this being said, it's safe to say that this brother-sister duo heavily outshines Monica and Ross Geller&rsquo;s sibling routine. From humble beginnings to Hollywood stardom, here are five things you didn&rsquo;t know about Finneas O&rsquo;Connell.

Humble Beginnings to Hollywood Fame

O&rsquo;Connell and Eilish&rsquo;s Grammy Award-winning magic began in their two-bedroom childhood home, located in Los Angeles&rsquo; Highland Park neighborhood. During a house tour with AWAL Records, O&rsquo;Connell revealed that for the majority of his childhood his parents slept on a futon in their living room.
The humble abode eventually became the birthplace of album &ldquo;When We Fall Asleep Where Do We Go,&rdquo; with the majority of the album recorded sitting crisscross applesauce in O&rsquo;Connell&rsquo;s bedroom turned studio.

Career in Film

Although O&rsquo;Connell has made quite the name for himself as a music-producing prodigy, you might recognize him on hit TV shows and a People&rsquo;s Choice Award-nominated film. His mother Maggie Baird dabbled in film alongside being a teacher. In 2013, O&rsquo;Connell starred alongside his mother in the independent film Life Inside Out, written and directed by Baird, with O&rsquo;Connell producing the film&rsquo;s score.
Following Life Inside Out, O&rsquo;Connell earned a role in the raunchy comedy, Bad Teacher, playing Spencer, a student of the fourth-mouthed, boozy Elizabeth, played by Cameron Diaz. He then went on to play Alistar on Glee&rsquo;s final season, and the Dunphey's redneck neighbor Ronnie LaFontaine, Jr. on ABC&rsquo;s Modern Family.

Relationship with Claudia Sulewski

In 2018, O&rsquo;Connell started dating the lifestyle and beauty YouTuber, Claudia Sulewski. The social media influencer frequently features her boyfriend on her channel as she showcases her lifestyle content. It was revealed on their podcast that the couple met on a dating app four years ago and have been inseparable ever since.
The following year, Finneas released his single &ldquo;Claudia&rdquo;, featuring a tear-jerking love song sharing the beauty of their impressive relationship and breaking single hearts around the world. The couple&rsquo;s Insta-famous pooch Peach Pit has just shy of 190,000 followers on Instagram. It seems even Peaches is taking after her influential parents.&nbsp;

Creating the Sound of Your Favorite Artists

From Justin Bieber to Tove Lo, and Camila Cabello, O&rsquo;Connell&rsquo;s producing, and songwriting skills are the result of some of your favorite popstars tunes. Songs such as Justin Bieber&rsquo;s &ldquo;Lonely,&rdquo; Selena Gomez&rsquo;s &ldquo;Lose You to Love Me&rdquo;, and Halsey&rsquo;s &ldquo;Ihateeveryone&rdquo; are just some of the award-winning songs courtesy of O&rsquo;Connell. O&rsquo;Connell and Eilish&rsquo;s &ldquo;Ocean Eye&rsquo;s&rdquo; put the pair on the map and rewarded them with almost instantaneous fame.&nbsp; 
It is even rumored that O&rsquo;Connell has been working on an unreleased song for John Legend, so fans of the singer should keep their eyes and ears out.

Solo Career

During an interview with Atwood Magazine, O&rsquo;Connell revealed his passion for music comes from creating something that other people can relate to. O&rsquo;Connell has been the lead singer of the alternative-rock band The Slightlys and actively makes music under his stage name FINNEAS.
In 2019 O&rsquo;Connell released his solo single &ldquo;What They&rsquo;ll Say About Us&rdquo; which made it to number 17 on Top Charts. Many of O&rsquo;Connell&rsquo;s songs have well over 100 million Spotify plays with &ldquo;Let&rsquo;s Fall in Love Tonight&rdquo; and &ldquo;Break my Heart Again&rdquo; being his most popular.
