\After her success in the movie A Star is Born, Lady Gaga is preparing to return to the silver screen in style as she is set to immerse herself in the Gucci universe to play the role of Patrizia Reggiani, who spent 18 years in prison after killing her ex-husband Maurizio Gucci, the heir to the brand.

After months of speculation, MGM has bought the rights to the story, according to The Hollywood Reporter. His script, written by Roberto Bentivegna, will be based on the book “The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed”, written by Sara Gay Forden in 2001.

It is worth mentioning that, according to the publication, MGM disputed for the rights of the story with Netflix and another streaming service, which was not mentioned, which only raises expectations for this to be a powerful production.
